The United Nations will be holding a competitive examination for the recruitment of English-language interpreters tentatively on 29 July 2008.
Applicants for the examination must have:
- English as their main language;
- An excellent knowledge of French and Russian.
Candidates who are successful in this examination will be placed on a roster from which existing and future vacancies in the Interpretation Service in New York, Geneva, Vienna, and Nairobi will be filled.
Applications for this examination must be received by 2 June 2008.
