The AIIC Legal and Court Interpreting Committee and the Interpretation Directorate of the Court of Justice of the European Communities are pleased to announce the Seminar to be organised in Luxembourg from Thursday, November 20 at 10.00 to Saturday, November 22 at 13.00 h.

Draft Programme

The languages of the seminar will be French and English

• General Presentation of the Court of Justice (history and functions)
• Introduction to the different types of proceedings
• The Court of First Instance
• The Civil Service Tribunal
• Interpreting at the ECJ
• Terminology management
• Participation in a hearing, preceded by an introduction
• Presentation of « famous cases »

The morning of Saturday, November 22 will focus on language workshops.
