The National University of Rwanda is recruiting two lecturers of Translation and Interpreting for full-time or part-time positions in the Department of English:
Position One is a native (or native-like) Anglophone with reasonable passive knowledge of French ;
Position Two is a native (native-like) Francophone with reasonable passive knowledge of English;
A. Major duties and Responsibilities
- Carrying out the teaching and the training of students in the translation and interpreting skills
- Performing a full range of evaluative functions in support of the teaching and training activities
B. Qualification Requirements
Education: The candidates shall have at least a Master's Degree in Translation and Interpreting from a well-known institution;
Work experience: The candidates shall have at least three years' full time experience in a professional (including teaching) translation/interpreting position.
Language proficiency: Bilingual in English and French
