Students can apply for grants. Non-Finnish students are eligible for a Finnish study grant only if they are permanent residents in Finland or if they are remigrants. Foreign applicants should find out whether they are eligible for a grant or scholarship in their own country or through international exchange programmes (see http://www.cimo.fi). Trainees of conference interpreting may also be eligible for a bursary or support from the interpreting services of the EU institutions (see http://europa.eu.int/comm/scic/training/bursaries/study_bursaries.htm, http://www.europarl.eu.int/interp/public/fi/).
