First Contract Series - More Information Online

This month learn where to go and what to expect at four international organizations in and around Geneva: the World Intellectual Property Organization, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, the International Telecommunications Union and the World Health Organization.

Over the last year the VEGA network has expanded the number of organizations in the First Contract series. All articles contain basic information on contact persons, location of the organization and of meeting rooms, and administrative procedures. They will also inform you if a collective agreement covers the organization in question.

1) thanks to the webeditors for putting the series together
2) Vega welcomes corrections, suggestions, updates and volunteers for other Organisations which offer a significant amount of work
3) New ideas have come up: Conference towns where a small number of organisations generate a lot of work: The Hague is on the making, what next? Any ideas? Paris? London?
4) One issue not covered by these articles concerns Freelance access to become part of a given International Organisation FL list: Free lance "engageables". We will try to adress the issue shortly
Thanks for reading us.
All the best for 2003
