7pm, 8th April, 2010, at ISIT, 39bis rue d'Assas, 75006 Paris
The European Parliament is one of the biggest recruiters of freelance interpreters in the world and is regularly looking for freelance interpreters for a huge variety of language combinations, including those with non- EU languages. In addition to the more traditionally recruited profiles, the EP is now seeking bi-active interpreters for its IAP (Interpretation Ad Personam) service, where interpretation may be offered to individual members of Parliament who qualify for the service under special rules. IAP is offered in both Brussels and Strasbourg.
Juan Carlos Jimenez Marin is head of the recruitment unit of DG Interpretation and Conferences and responsible for the IAP project. He will be in Paris to explain the service and its requirements as well as to discuss EP recruitment policy in general.
Please confirm your intention to attend by 31st March by e-mail to
