Following the successful 2014 launch of short courses for interpreters with English B, Christine Adams and Zoë Hewetson are proposing to run two more in 2015.There is a felt need for opportunities for colleagues to work on their B in a practical, supportive environment.

Dates 

  • 17-22 August 2015
  • 24-29 August 2015

Practical information

  • simultaneous interpreting,
  • consecutive (if requested),
  • feedback from colleagues and English A course tutors,
  • voice coaching,
  • English enhancement,
  • talks and debates on topical issues,
  • speech preparation and delivery.

The fees will be €1500.00 or £1200.00 (which will cover tuition, not accommodation). We could accommodate two different A language groups a week, with a minimum number of six per group and a maximum of ten.

In week 1 (from 17-22 August) we have Portuguese A and Swedish A and still have some places for Portuguese As.

In week 2 (24-29 August) we have French A and Spanish A – with some Spanish A places.
