AIIC Netherlands hands-on remote simultaneous interpreting seminar: The Hague 

On 23 March AIIC Netherlands held a hands-on seminar offering participants an opportunity to practice using two RSI platforms in real-life interpreting conditions, to experience the look-and-feel of the platforms, to raise questions and to exchange views with colleagues.   

Vega Interregional Meeting & Vega / PRIMS & BarCamp: Budapest

On Friday 22 March a cancelled flight meant that “VEGA goes Budapest: Meet the AIIC President” became "Meet the AIIC Vice President", but still gave interpreters an opportunity to learn more about the Association and the future of the profession. Barnabás Tóth, director of the film Chuchotage – which is set in an interpreters’ booth – discussed his film and the experiences of the world of interpreting that inspired him. At the BarCamp, participants participated in lively discussion about a range of  issues and aspects of interpreting.

The exhibition "One Trial – Four Languages: The Pioneers of Interpreting at Nuremberg", at the European Court of Human Rights from 19 March until 5 May 2019.
